diversity within the police service

:: The overall objective of this project is to increase the possibilities for people with various cultural backgrounds to find a position in the Swedish society, hopefully in the capacity of a Swedish police officer. At the same time our aim is to increase our own knowledge and understanding of cultural diversity-, integration-, gender- and equality issues.

Cultural Diversity - The ethnical structure of the Swedish population should be reflected within the Swedish police force. We work hard to put this principle into practise.


Integration - Increase the knowledge of others, and at the same time increase our own knowledge, we believe to be a good method when it comes to, in a very concrete sensem, prove that it is a necessity to have the police organisation composed in a way that reflects the ethnical structure of the society.

Gender/Equality - We find issues relating to these themes as of profound importance, especially with regard to women immigrants. These women need to be supported in all sorts of ways in order to strengthen their societal positions.
