Reflection - A bank is supposed to be an important source, or "engine"
in a society. Unfortunately, that is not descriptive for many banks
today. Value - The more knowledge and experiences that are
shared between the employee and costumer, the more value will be given
to society.
Competence - Each and every of the 8 participants (5 females
and 3 males), for whom Swedish is not a first language as immigrants,
have the opportunity to get a mentor in their own individual workplace.
They all go through a trainee program that lasts for approx. 9 months,
including both theory and "hands-on" experiences in an actual
workplace, something that we feel will be beneficial for all parts.
The bank´s employees in tis different branches will increase their
understanding as well as their knowledge in terms of diversity and
concerning other cultures, which will strengthen the relationship
between the bank and the costumers.
Role model - FöreningsSparbanken (SwedBank) in the
Eastsweden Region, would like to develop a method that will increase
the diversity in the organization, and become a "role model" in taking
responsibility for the diversity within the organization and therefore
contribute to the development of the country.
